This auction is for a bread box and pie safe.  Both items are solid wood and I would guess they are pine.  These are two separate items but they fit so perfectly together with the bread box on top,  I decided to sell them together.  There is a piece of formica (matched our countertops) stapled inside the pie safe but it can be easily removed to open it up and allow just the mesh to be shown.   I wanted it closed so you couldn't see inside but left it on in case someone else wants to use it for storage and not have it open.  Your choice.  It also has a drop leaf which comes in very handy.
